Lamas and Native Tarapoto - Culture and Customs
- Visit to Lamas , folkloric capital of the Amazon, a town of colors, customs and ancestral traditions. Located at 814 meters above sea level and only 25 min. from Tarapoto.
- We visit its main square , followed by the Chanka museum and the Lamist diversity, to better understand the foundation, customs, myths and legends of Lamas.
- In addition, we visit the imposing castle of Lamas with its medieval construction style that takes us back in time and place.
- We end our visit in the Kechwa Wayku native community , to see how they live, differentiate the architecture of their houses and interact a little with them.
Departure place
- We recommend our Jr. Rioja 357 - Tarapoto office as a meeting point, 2 blocks from the central square of the city.
- We provide courtesy pick-up service from hotels that are centrally located or en route. It helps us to be efficient in times.
